The main problems of a sintering of high heat resistance ceramics by microwave heating are considered. The expediency of use for acceleration of the process of a sintering and alignment of allocation of temperature in ceramics of a combined microwave heating is motivated. The combined microwave heating includes internal heating of the specimen and external heating with the additional heaters from composite resistive materials, which are heated up by that by a source of a microwave energy. The application of a combined microwave heating for synthesis of mullite from powders obtained by a zol-gel method, and also from gradient powders exemplify.
