Lichenoid Drug Eruption

摘要

A 54-year-old Asian woman com-plained of itching from a newlyerupted rash. The purple papulesand plaques were symmetrically distrib-uted on the patients back, arms, and legs(A and B). Microscopic examination of mate-rial from a lesion showed spongiosis(edema surrounding the individual kera-tinocytes in the epidermis) and a band-like, chronic inflammatory infiltrate atthe dermal-epidermal junction (C).
