Controllable exhaust gas recirculation in medium speed marine diesel engine

摘要

A combined system is described allowing to reduce noxious emissions of marine diesel engine coupled with fixed pitch propeller. The system is based on recirculation of cooled exhaust gas and neutralizing filter. It ensures lowering emissions of NO{sub}x and incomplete combustion products (such as CO, HC and particles) to comply with up-to-date environmental specifications.
