Method of the rated hardened layer depth definition at shot-blasting under conditions when shot hardness value is near hardness value of the surface to be hardened is proposed. This method can be used for shot-blasting parameters determination for instance for gearing teeth preliminary subjected to the heat or thermochemical treatment.
