New industrial high-capacity and efficient technology and equipment for partition of brought to pieces non-ferrous metals scrap in particular aluminum and its alloys are developed. For revealing of quality composition of each metal piece in a scrap flow according to this technology the small energy X-rays are used after which selected pieces are segregated by air pulse to special hoppers.
