Methods to improve the strength of welded joints of thermoplastic pipes (Review)

摘要

Three methods are suggested for increase in strength of welded joints in thermoplastic material pipes such as removing an oxide film by shearing plastics during welding using IR-radiation, profiled hot tool welding and mechanical mixing.
