摘要

Given are the results of investigations of the process of welding with test flux-cored wires of rutile type with different content of fluorides in the core. Proceeding from the data of monitoring the electric signals of arc voltage and weldingcurrent and their statistical processing, it is shown that increase of fluorite content in the wire core lowers the stability of the process of melting and transfer of the electrode metal, increases the dimensions of the transferred drops and the numberof the short-circuits, as well as the amplitude of fluctuations of the welding current and voltage. Use of computer systems for monitoring the welding process in order to assess the process parameters and the related properties of the metal of the weldand the welded joint, allows revealing quite small deviations in the nature of arcing, the features of the electrode metal melting and transfer caused by variation of the flux-cored wire composition, as well as by deviations from the assigned parametersof the welding process.
