Process of surfacing of powder mixture of self-fluxing nickel alloy and tungsten carbide, both usual and cladded with nickel, was investigated in 5 kW SR-1 light-beam installation, developed by the Chair of Welding of《Tsin-Hua》University (P. R.China). Sound deposited alloy was obtained in use of cladded tungsten carbide.
