摘要

We examined the role of interleukin-7 (IL-7) known to counteract protein kinase C (PKC) via JAK/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) pathway, production of extracellular matrix (ECM), cell migration, and expressions of TGFbl and collagen la1 m-RNA by real-time RT-PCR. The purpose of the current study was to establish a new treatment to suppress excess scarring in glaucoma filtering surgery wound. Such scarring might worsen the outcome of the operation in the later phase.
