摘要

Pasic results of computation-experimental investigation into residual welding stresses acting within the zone of circumferential welded joints in piping of the DU-800 type at the Chernobyl nuclear power station CItAES-8 are given. Possibilities of regulating these stresses during repair of the pipes are considered. It is shown that the level of stresses on the inside surface of a pipe can be regulated within sufficiently wide ranges by selecting appropriate conditions and technologies for weldingthe pipe.
