Visible Korean Human (Other Serially-Sectioned Images of Entire Body)

摘要

The serially sectioned images of entire cadavers from the Visible Human Project (VHP), Visible Korean Human (VKH), and Chinese Visible Human (CVH) play the role of main resources in the medical image library, where three-dimensional (3-D) images and software are made for medical education and clinical trials. In the medical image library, users can select one among the VHP, VKH, and CVH data for their own purposes. For the users, the VHP, VKH, and CVH should improve their own data in quantity and quality, and new serially sectioned images are expected to complement the existing data. In this report, essential techniques and data of the VKH are discussed, which is expected to help users fully understand and practically utilize the serially sectioned images.
