摘要

This paper proposes two millimeter-wave road-to-vehicle communication systems: multimode wireless transmission system and broadband wireless package transmission system. The proposed systems are based on radio-on-fiber (ROF) technology, which can transmit broadband information data with low loss by using optical-fiber as one of the broadband wave-guides to transmit radio signals. Feasibility studies of the proposed systems have been performed from the viewpoint of transmission performance and we confirm that both systems have high feasibility for the future intelligent transport systems (ITS).
