Allergic contact dermatitis caused by tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine in cosmetic products.

Between 2004 and 2010, we observed 5 patients with contact allergy to the cosmetic ingredient tetrahydrox-ypropyl ethylenediamine (INCI). In 4 of them it had caused or aggravated the dermatitis, but in the fifth patient the relevance could not be determined.
