An Algebraic Surface Public-key Cryptosystem

In this paper, we propose a new type of public-key cryptosystem whosesecurity is based on a section finding problem of surfaces. This problem, which is one of theprincipal issues in algebraic geometry, has no known efficient algorithm to solve even if a quantumcomputer is realized. This paper shows the key generation, encryption, decryption algorithms for theproposed cryptosystem and presents security analysis.
