摘要

The paper presents the results of differential thermal studies of thermooxidizing destruction of carbochain and heterochain polymers and their debris appearing during friction in water over alloyed chrome-manganese steel. It is shown that the debris of the polymers in question are characterized by thermooxidizing activity that becomes apparent in reduction of the destruction temperature and emergence of exothermal effects due to accumulation of products of reactions of the polymers with water the surface of hydrated metal in the debris. Corrosive resistance of the metal drops strongly during friction in water on polymers that have aromatic functional groups in their structure. Polymers that have simple ester groups in the structure of macromolecules possess the least corrosive activity in respect to steel.
