摘要

The early osteointegration of a macrorough or a microrough metallic surface depends mainly on the ingrowth of the bone tissue onto the material surface. Titanium alloy implants with a rough surface are widely used in orthopedics due to their goodmechanical properties and biocompatibility. Titanium surfaces characterized by macroroughness have been studied with the focus on enhancing the bone apposition onto the implant.
