摘要

Positive patch test results to gold-sodium thiosulphate (GST) occur in 1-23% of tested subjects , i.e. with the prevalence comparable with the nickel allergy. High prevalence of positive test reactions to gold coupled with low clinical relevance has inspired many investigators to explain these peculiarities. However, less attention has been paid to the professional factors.
