摘要

The cultivar was created by Moscow Breeding Station and V. R. Vil'yams All-Russian Research Institute of Feeds using hybridization between cultivars Vela, Vertus, Vega 87 and Sintetika 7008. It is recommended that the new cultivar is grown in mixed stands with Bromopsis inermis [Bromus inermis] (up to 10 kg/ha of each species). Productivity of 9.19 t/ha (7.1 t/ha of Lucerne) was recorded in 1997-2000, whereas the reference cv. Vega 87 had productivities of 7.92 and 5.14 t/ha, respectively. The new cultivar is winter hardy and drought resistant.
