The German Government has given the battery market a minor boost with a subsidy. Since May ist Germany has offered an incentive programme to encourage the uptake of battery storage systems for small photovoltaic plants by contributing 30% of the cost of the battery. But the move could be reversed following the Federal elections in September. PV systems with energy storage up to 30KW are eligible.
