Business and trade magazines aren't supposed to be political: I'm relaxing outside the energy storage hall at Electrical Energy Storage— part of Intersolar— one of the biggest trade shows concerning the renewable energy industry in Europe. I'm sharing jokes mainly with Germans and colleagues from most of Europe as we take respite from the intense trade activity going on here, drinking German beers and eating German food. It's almost a cliche of the European ideal— peace and prosperity. And at the back of my mind I'm wondering why a large proportion of the current ruling party of the UK are planning to persuade the British electorate to vote for our withdrawal from the European Union. It's unbelievable and it's wrong.
