Inspection and maintenance works for crude tar storage tank

摘要

Tar distillation unit has been operated without troubles since November,1989.Cruder tar is stored in the three large tanks and supplied as raw material.All tanks were constructed before 1977 according to the standard of the law.Inspection has been done once ten years.We must practice inspection and maintenance for tanks,pursuing reduction of maintenance cost,whereas security is firstly maintained.In this paper,we introduce some results of maintenance.
