Two German firms are gearing up to take a slice of the US energy storage market by opening new facilities in the country. Just a year after Sonnenbatterie began operations in the US the lithium focused energy storage systems company is opening a research and development facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The plant will be the centre forthe company's product development, prototyping, and testing for the US market.
