Anew laboratory is being set up to research and develop lithium-ion in the energy storage sector. The new facility, by French specialty chemicals and advanced materials company Arkema and utilities firm Hydro-Quebec, will focus on a new generation of materials for the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries— particulary lithium salts.
