Effect of Digital Printing on Image Qualities Obtained by Digital Compact Camera

Nowadays, the digital compact cameras have been developed to be as high performance as a professional camera (Digital Single Len Reflex, DSLR) although it mainly proposes for generally using and also possibly take to any place. This camera is designed for small size and cheaper than professional camera. Pictures taken from digital compact camera are achieved by basic mode function which evaluated from usually operating by user for example function of daylight mode, tungsten mode and fluorescent mode etc. These different modes cause the problem in color reproduction. The color of image can be possible changed from original and also effect to color of print image when it is applied to print on paper. Furthermore, some users prefer difference of image color from original modes provided by camera manufacturer. Thus, the aim of this research was to study the digital printing process that influence to quality of image on paper substrate by using basic modes of digital compact camera.
