Peculiarities of the transformations in laser-alloyed carbon steels produced with the help of boron carbide powder injection

By means of boron carbide powder injection in He atmosphere, the alloyed layers on the surface of carbon steels have been produced with the help of the use of continuous laser radiation. The processes of structure and phase transformations under crystallization and cooling of laser-alloyed layers are investigated.
