CURTIN UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP

The Institute's WA Branch has been working with Curtin University on an engagement program that has a real focal point of connecting the local concrete industry to the students. As part of the "partner" arrangement with Curtin University, Members of the WA Branch Committee have been invited to sit on the university's industry panel. This panel assists the university in the structure of the engineering curriculum and course work, with the aim to provide students with a degree that is current with the construction and engineering practices in Perth, and that upon graduation they will be "work-ready" in this environment.
