摘要

The Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI) is dedicated to fostering a united voice for nursing informatics. The ANI also provides a mechanism for transforming care and develops resources, guidelines, and standards for all aspects of nursing informatics: practice, education, scope of practice, research, certification, public policy, terminology, best practice guidelines, mentoring, advocacy, networking, and career services. One of the amazing benefits is the power that the individual membership organizations can have through networking. Recently, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) were involved in an inspiring exchange.
