Trend of recent control systems in water/sewage treatment plants

摘要

This article introduced trend of recent control systems and execution examples in water/sewage treatment plants. As to the trend of large or medium-sized control systems, independence of the operability and distribution of the control have been attempted since DCS is on the market. Furthermore, it moves to the separation of the function between control and information. Especially information function is indispensable to open and network system. As to the trend of small-sized control systems, the adoption of the personal computer is popularized so that the requirement of the economy and the generality rises. And they are required a long life, safety, operability, easy maintenance and so on. These systems cope with them by the adoption of two redundant dual-processor CPU modules, multi-windows function and remote maintenance. We introduce examples of control systems in water treatment plants by "CENTUM CS" as the large or medium-size, and monitoring systems in wastewater facilities by 'Simple Sight" as small-size.
