摘要

In the distribution system, there are many capacitors for improvement of power factor. In light load condition, voltage distortion of 6.6 kV distribution system increases by the harmonics resonance between source impedance and these capacitors. The generated harmonic currents are amplified due to the resonance between the system impedance and the static capacitors under the leading power factor conditions. As a result, the voltage distortion grows up. To solve this problem, an active filter is developed especially for distribution system and its field test results are presented and discussed in this paper.
