The research on the tightening of bolted joint at the yielding point (proposal of force gradient control method and development of the testing equipment)

In the yield point tightening of the screw, this report has advocated the axial force gradient method. Then, the program tightened with the automatic tightening testing equipment for doing the axial force gradient method is developed. The direct axial force gradient method gets the tightening characteristics of the yield point which is equivalent to the indirect torque gradient method. The axial force gradient method has confirmed that there is the reliability in the yield point tightening.
