The Boeing 787 Dreamliner entered into service as the pinnacle of aerospace excellence in terms of design, efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort. Many new technologies have been implemented including advanced composite structures and a more electric based flight control actuation system, using high pressure (5000 PSI) hydraulics, with the goal of reduced weight and lower operating costs.
