We have been commercializing a non-flammable capacitor which uses SF{sub}6 gas as an insulating gas, but it is well known that SF{sub}6 gas is one of the greenhouse effect gases and the use of it will be restricted strictly. In order to develop a non-flammable capacitor without using SF{sub}6 gas, we decided to choose a new fluid called "Perfluorinated polyether (PFPE)" as an impregnant We believe our new all-film capacitor immersed by PFPE is most reliable for the high-voltage power applications. In this paper, we will focus on the technologies regarding the recycle and recovery of PFPE from the capacitor.
