Development of voltage fluctuation compensator having a function to prevent islanding of a grid connected wind energy conversion systems

Nowadays, Many of wind power generation system are installed in Japan. The wind power generation systems are possible to cause voltage fluctuation and islanding phenomenon in the power distribution line. Then, we developed voltage fluctuation compensator with new principle protection function for islanding phenomenon. This paper describes design, plot-type equipment and test results of this equipment.
