Design of a wireless digital video transmission system with data frame selective repeat hybrid ARQ protocol

摘要

This paper shows approximate values and simulation results about the performance of data frame selective repeat hybrid ARQ protocol regarding video error occurance, under a burst error channel which has a comparatively long time constant. This protocol was designed dedicatedly for mobile AV stations to provide the high quality digital video transmission through radio channel. The overview of an MAC LSI, which implemented the proposed protocol, is also described.
