摘要

Ni rich alloys such as Fe-36Ni alloys are widely used for LNG tanks and Bi-metal because of their excellent low temperature toughness and low thermal expansion. Fe-36Ni alloys are however known to be very susceptible to hot cracking during the continuous casting operation. In present work, the hot cracking formation and its mechanism in Fe-36Ni alloys during continuous casting was investigated.
