Photochromic Metal Complexes

"Photochromic metal complexes", in which metal complex units connect with organic photochromic molecular units, are the candidates of valuable materials for molecular-based devices, since the unique physical properties of the metal complex units can be switched by photo-irradiation and/or the photochromic properties can be modified by interacting with the metal complex units. Recent advances of such complexes are surveyed in this review.
