摘要

Photocatalytic activity of carbon-coated TiO_2 was evaluated through the determination of rate constant for the decomposition reaction under UV irradiation on four model pollutants in water,methylene blue,reactive black 5,phenol and iminoctadine triacetate.For methylene blue most of carbon-coated TiO_2 showed higher activity than pristine anatase powder, but for others carbon-coated anatase gave smaller rate constant of their photodecomposition.For all pollutants,the dependences of rate constants for their photodecomposition reactions on full width at half maximum intensity of 101 X-ray diffraction line of anatase phase were similar with each other and showed maxima at about 0.6 deg in 2 theta(CuK alpha).
