Allelopathic active compounds from underground parts of Allium nutans L.

摘要

Allelopathic activity of different estracts from underground parts of Allium nutans L. was inverstigated. It was shown that the sum of steroidal glicosides posses the highest activity. The main component of the mixture of saponins was isolated and identificated as deltoside. Four phenolic acids was also identified by using TLC methods. Combinatory effects of deltoside and these phenolic compounds on growth of the roots of Cress salad seedlings was investigated.
