Self-rooted variety of columnar apple.

摘要

Planting of self-rooted columnar apples using vertical layers and woody cuttings was studied in the Voronezh region, Russia in 2000-01. Data on root system development and survival of plants are tabulated. Overall, better results were achieved using etiolated woody cuttings, where rooting and survival of several lines (A-130, A-506, A-115) were similar to those of MM.106 rootstock (74%).
