We report a case highlighting a rare association of carcinoid syndrome and cutaneous scleroderma. Previous reports have not discussed the response of cutaneous signs to treatment of the carcinoid tumour. A 59-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of facial flushing. For several months he had also experienced weight loss, diarrhoea and wheeze, with recent redness, tightness and swelling of the legs. A clinical diagnosis of carcinoid syndrome had been made previously, but he was referred to the dermatology department because of the unusual cutaneous signs.
