To the fauna of Cochliarium (Diptera, Scathophagidae)

A diagnosis of the genus Cochliarium is given and an analysis of the species composition of the genus is presented. Two new species, C. alanica sp. nov., from the Caucasus (Northern Ossetia) and C. tukuringra sp. nov. from Amurskaya district, Russia, are described. C. castanipes is removed to the genus Gymnomera to be Gymnomera castanipes comb. nov. A key to identifying Cochliarium species is provided. Figures of the male genitalia of C. lasiostoma and C. alanica sp. nov. are given.
