We report a case of interstitial granulomatous dermatitis with arthritis presenting with rope-like lesions on the trunk and arms. A 36-year-old man presented with a 1-year history of rope-like lesions over both flanks, extending upwards to his arms. The patient reported that 1 week before the skin changes occurred, he had developed a sudden and severe pain in his flanks after lifting a heavy box. He had a 16-year history of bilateral knee pain, and a 3-month history of morning stiffness with pain in the fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders and ankles, which had resulted in him being unable to work.
