Regularities of altitudinal distribution of Orthoptera in the Gissaro-Darvaz mountains (Tajikistan). Report 1 [Russian]

The altitudinal distribution of 127 Orthoptera species in the Gissaro-Darvaz mountains (Tajikistan) is analyzed. In mountain regions, the species are widespread at all altitudinal levels. The following groups of the insects were distinguished by the pattern of their vertical distribution: plain, mountain, and species widespread at all altitudinal levels. The attitudes of their distribution are given, and factors limiting the distribution of the insects are discussed.
