A new genus of water mites of the family Lebertiidae (Acariformes, Hydrachnidia)

The diagnosis of a new genus of water mites (Paralebertia) and the first description of male, female, and larva of P. aborigenica (Tuz., 1990) comb. n. from a mountain lake in Magadan region is given. The new genus is similar to Lebertia Neuman but differs from it by arms of femur and genu pedipalps in adult mites and the free arrangement of external praeanates setae (Pe) in larva.
