Microchelonus species related to Microchelonus atripes (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) from western Palaearctic

New species of the genus Microchelonus related to M. atripes (Thoms.)-M. balchanicus, M. buctapesti, M. cretensis, M. eugenii, M. foersteri, M. helleni, M. nigellus, M. nigritus, M. scaberrimus, M. tatricus, M. victorovi spp. n.-are described from western palaearctic. This group differs in its curved apically, elongated carapace of abdomen, elongated articles of antennae, short palpi, moderately developed malar space; the radial cell of the fore wings is not shortened or moderately shortened, the sculpture of the head and abdomen is not coarse, the legs are dark colored. A key to identifying 19 species of the genus is given. The name M. erraticus Tobias, 1995 from the Russian Far East (junior homonym of Mongolian M. erraticus Tobias; 1989) is replaced by M. erratus Tobias, nom. n.
