摘要

We have been researching application of Imaging Reflector Antenna (IRA) to onboard antenna for maritime broadband satellite communications, since it is expected to realize high antenna gain and wide beam scan. A technical challenge is how to realize high antenna gain as well as wide beam scan by using IRA with limited number of array element. The other problem of IRA is reduction of grating lobe level. In this paper, we report fundamental study results on evaluating scanning performance and reduction of grating lobe level of IRA.
