摘要

The current demand for broadband services in Indonesia is increasing. Therefore, the authors will use Ka-Band which has some advantages such as wider bandwidth, the higher transmission speeds, and smaller size of antenna in the ground. However, it is recognized that rain attenuation is the primary factor in the degradation of signal at the Ka band. The purpose of this design is to determine whether the Ka-band frequency can be implemented in Indonesia which has high intensity of rainfall.
