摘要

Physical Optics (PO) is one of the useful methods to estimate the scattering and radiation. However, the PO approximation does not always serve to obtain reliable solution since it uses the current of Geometrical Optics. In order to improve the capability of the traditional PO method, we have considered use of the transition current on curved surface from Fock-type function canonical problem. In this report, we discuss the scattering by an impedance cylinder at oblique incidence and several numerical results are demonstrated. It is shown that PTD-TC gives a fairly improved result than the traditional PO approximation.
