Module placement for safe routing using sequence-pair

Sequence-Pair has been introduced to slove the packing problem derived from the placement stage of VLSI design. But it is sometimes impossible to route all nets if the routing area for safe routing is not secured in the placement stage. In this paper, we propose a placement algorithm using Sequence-Pair that guarantees safe routing in 3 layer routing. In 3 layer routing, sufficient conditions for safe routing have been introduced. So, we use these sufficient conditions to guarantee safe routing and secure the routing area. And we show that we can get the placement for safe routing in the experiment.
