摘要

In this article, we discuss a numerical analysis technique for an optimization problem of a maintenance policy related to safety. Generally, in a maintenance policy problem, one assumes a cost for a failure and investigates a trade off with a total failure cost and a total maintenance cost. However, in safety problem, a risk in connection with a overall failure rates is a criteria. Therefore we think about the case that a utility function is assumed for each object. As a maintenance policy model, a deterioration parameter about failures related to safety is assumed to be observed, for example, by Non Destructive Inspection methods. Replacement will take place, when the observed value exceeds a limit value.
